Andrew MacPherson BVSc, MBA(dist), FNZIM, CEO.
Andrew commenced his professional life as a veterinarian working predominantly with large animal’s in Tauranga, UK and Te Awamutu. He helped build a successful practice before leaving clinical work to assume the role of CEO of a veterinary biological company AgVax Developments. His next CEO role was in New Zealand’s largest private R&D company Canesis Network Ltd, this company had offices in China, America, Germany and an international development centre in the UK. He moved on to head up Intervet NZ the local subsidiary of a global veterinary pharmaceutical, biological and hormone company. Many of these assignments have involved change management.
He is currently a director of AgResearch Ltd, the Animal Health Board Inc and chairs the Johnes Disease Research Consortium.
His private interests centre on Waipaoa Station an historic sheep and beef station, that he and his business partner own on the East Coast of the North Island. Currently a training scheme operates on the station to train the next generation of farm managers and farm owners |

Brian A Bell, M.Ag.Sci (Hons), Shareholder Director,
is a natural resource economist and financial
analyst. He has more than 35 years experience in economic
analysis, research, promotion and policy development. His
current interests are centered on the interface between economics
and the environment, extending cost benefit analysis to quantify
environmental and social values using stated preference tools
such as choice modelling. Key areas of analysis include estimating
dollar values for indigenous biodiversity and assessing the
trade-offs between income and environmental outcomes for intensive
pastoral systems.
He has parallel interests in development economics
and governance, particularly related to small fragile states
in the Pacific. Brian has been associated with the Tuvalu
Trust Fund since it was set up in 1987, firstly as an advisor
and more recently as a director of the fund and chairman of
its Investment Committee. |

Andrew Thomas, B. Comm. (Ag), MBA, Shareholder Consultant ,
is a business advisor specialising in investment
and risk analysis, financial analysis and feasibility studies.
He has skills and knowledge in a wide range of business activities
and functions and across a range of primary industry sectors.
Andrew had several years in primary industry banking, providing
a sound knowledge of production systems across a range of
industry sectors.
In addition Andrew has worked in processing
and marketing organisations and gained valuable experience
throughout the value chain. |

Mike Yap, B.Sc. (Management Engineering), MBA, Consultant,
specialises in industry and economic research,
strategic and financial analysis, business planning, and project
management. His experience involves analyst, consultancy and
management roles in agri-business, forestry, nutraceuticals,
commercial/investment banking, high technology security and
safety systems, health, property, and special economic zones.
In addition, Michael also provides the Asian perspective and
develops business and investment opportunities between Southeast
Asia and New Zealand. |

Nick Giera, B.Com Ag., M. Com Ag. (Hons), Shareholder
Consultant,
Nick specialises in financial and economic
analysis, industry research and international rural development.
Nick’s eight years of consultancy experience includes
a number of international rural development assignments undertaking
business development, value chain analysis and agricultural
policy advice in Australia, the Pacific, Central Asia, East
Asia and Russia.
In his time at Nimmo-Bell Nick has analysed
the costs and benefits of over 25 agricultural research projects
and his work is becoming increasingly involved in the interface
between agriculture and the management of natural resources.
This more recent research focus has been on issues around
improving the environmental sustainability of the primary
sector. |

| Charlotte
Cudby, BBS (Economics), Grad Dip Bus Studs (Finance), Agribusiness
Consultant,
Charlotte specialises in forestry, and is
a member of the New Zealand Institute of Forestry. She has
sound policy experience having spent almost four years in
the MAF International Policy team focusing on international
forestry issues that straddled the trade and environment arenas.
Key areas of expertise include:
- sustainability policies and guidelines for planted forests;
- forest certification policies;
- illegal logging and related trade issues;
- ways of recognising forest ecosystem services;
- trade policies; and
- the characteristics of New Zealand’s forestry export
markets.
Charlotte is also currently developing her
experience with integrated project evaluation and further
strengthening her practical understanding of environmental
economics in the area of non-market valuation. |

| Trish
Hanson, Company Accountant,
Trish has responsibility for the company accounting
functions within Nimmo-Bell including the financial management
of companies managed by Nimmo-Bell. Trish arrived in New Zealand
20 years ago with a background financial management in international
banking. Trish has held a range of positions in New Zealand
including that of financial controller in companies involved
in manufacturing and merchandising. |
